3A. Design & Development Packages

These are flat rates are typically used for smaller projects or single styles

OPTION 2: ESSENTIAL TECH PACK + MATERIAL SOURCING

$3,000 PER STYLE 
50% due before work begins,  50% due upon receipt of Option 2 package

  • Flat sketches /designs in Adobe Illustrator in black and white/color if necessary (3 revisions)

  • Production-ready technical packages with callouts for all sewing details, etc.

  • Tech consultation and initial garment specifications for the sample size

  • Fabric and trim sourcing with wholesale vendors (2 rounds of sourcing)

  • Bill of Materials per style

+   Custom dye, custom wash, custom finishes:  Rate quoted according to scope 

+   Graphics, prints, embroideries, rip/repair:  Rate quoted according to scope

+   Additional fabrication per style:  Rate quoted according to scope

OPTION 1: ESSENTIAL TECH PACK

OPTION 3: FULL DEVELOPMENT (FOR SINGLE STYLE) 

$7,000 PER STYLE 
50% due before work begins,  25% due after 1st samples are received,  25% due upon receipt of final samples

  • Flat sketches /designs in Adobe Illustrator in black and white/color if necessary (3 revisions)

  • Production-ready technical packages with call outs for all sewing details, etc.

  • Garment specifications for the sample size

  • Fabric and trim sourcing with wholesale fabric vendors (2 rounds of sourcing)

  • Label system development and sourcing (3 drafts included; logo provided by the client if not designed by Stateless under separate SOW)

  • Factory sourcing from our network of factories, liaising with the factory on client behalf

  • Fit development per style via up to 3 fittings, including updates to tech packs & specs per style

Additional Services

3B. Blank Apparel

$1,750 PER SILHOUETTE / PER COLOR / PER ARTWORK CONFIGURATION

Stateless will help expertly strategize and manage the customization and production of your blank apparel collection.

  • Artwork tech-packs for all applied artwork (branding department will provide artwork and consult on placement, color, etc)

  • Blank silhouette sourcing with wholesale vendors (2 rounds of sourcing)

  • Label system development and sourcing (logo/type mark provided by branding department) (3 revisions)

  • Artwork/finishing house sourcing from our network of vendors, liaising with the vendors on client behalf

  • Strike-offs on printed samples (up to 3 rounds if necessary)

  • Develop purchase orders for blanks and send to client for approval

  • Bulk production management of blanks wholesaler, print vendors, and finishing house

*Please note that these fees do not include expenses relating to the cost of goods including materials, factory vendor fees, shipping, etc. These will be determined on a per project basis and the client will be invoiced directly from the vendor for these expenses.

3C. Three-Dimensional Design

As a way of helping to reduce costs and material waste, Stateless will work with you to develop advanced, detailed, 3D renderings of your products.

STRATEGY 1: GUAGE INTEREST (AVATAR ONLY)

$2,500 PER STYLE
50% upfront, 50% upon presentation of 3D design
Lead time: ~1 month

  • 2D flat sketches / designs in Adobe Illustrator in black and white (3 revisions if necessary)

  • Production-ready technical packages with call outs for all sewing details, etc.

  • Tech consultation and initial garment specifications for the sample size

  • Patterns built in Browzwear 3D from initial garment specs into avatar renderings

  • Fabric and material consultation on what’s possible / how to render in 3D

  • 3D presentation w/ substitute fabric imports

Note: This does not include pattern/construction adjustments once the initial garment specs are rendered into avatars. Any complex silhouette adjustments must be made at 2D sketch.

STRATEGY 2: PRESALE TO HELP FUND PRODUCTION
(INCLUDES ACTUAL GARMENT SAMPLING)

$6,000 PER STYLE
50% upfront, 25% upon presentation of 3D design, 25% upon receipt of garment sample
Lead time: ~7 months

  • Flat sketches /designs in Adobe Illustrator in black and white (3 revisions)

  • Production-ready technical packages with call outs for all sewing details, etc.

  • Tech consultation and initial garment specifications for the sample size

  • Patterns built in Browzwear 3D from initial garment specs into avatar renderings

  • Fabric and material sourcing to identify approved materials for bulk production (2 rounds of sourcing with vendors)

  • 3D presentation and fitting w/ actual fabric imports

  • Pattern corrections prior to factory pass off

  • Pattern print outs for factory to use - this will not include seam allowances, notches etc. (Factory will still have to build patterns internally)

  • Liaising with the cut & sew factory throughout prototyping process; managing all vendors and timelines

  • 1 garment fitting (after the 3D fitting) on mannequins in STLS office; includes updates to tech packs & specs per style for the factory *If another garment sample and fitting is needed we would charge our hourly rate of $325/hour.

  • Updates for final 3D presentation (hollow view with pattern corrections)

Please note that the above quotes do not include the cost of goods for development or bulk production including, but not limited to pattern fees, factory fees, material costs, fit model fees, shipping, etc. See below for more information on these variable cost of goods:

DEVELOPMENT COST OF GOODS BUDGET

US Development: we would suggest budgeting ~$2K per style for all materials, sampling fees from factory vendors, fit model fees, etc. for the development process (from initial sample to final sample). These costs are variable and dependent on the complexity of the styles, the materials, which factory we are developing/producing in, etc. 

Overseas Development (meaning you would also be producing overseas): this budget would be much, much less if at all necessary. 

NOTE: All of the vendor fees will be invoiced directly to you from the vendors so you will know exactly who your supply chain is, etc. 

BULK PRODUCTION COST OF GOODS BUDGET

This is the most variable budget. Our strategy is to reverse-engineer into a cost-per-unit target. The cost target is set by knowing your target retail and target margins. At the beginning of the process, our team will help you understand the feasibility behind your targets, work them out with you, and build the strategy accordingly.
